The MONDAYmorningPIck or whatever its called is a trading group or they wouldn't have a pick every week, they all got in at .035 according to this mornings article and probably all bailed out yesterday when they saw the price sliding. This may well be a good longer term investment but the nature of internet investors is very short term and most will leave when they see the price slide.

I'm no expert at this game, and I don't have NASDAQ level II that would really help, but I do look for unusual price activity. Sudden drops in price on low volume, and wide spreads. There's real no way to tell for sure, but you kind of have to figure out where the base of a stock price should be. If there is signficant price deviation from that base, you may be witnessing an artifical manipulation to induce panic selling among nervous investors who suddenly see their investments drop. This maybe especialy the case if there is a wide spread that goes with the price drop. You should also figure out where the previous base was, and what people would be willing to jump out for. The MMs calculate all this into their price movements. This is all based on how MMs operate. They will sell you shares that they don't have figuring they can recoup later. I believe those shares must be delivered three days later. It's been about three days since the start of the run up. I think the MMs have to deliver, and they are getting plenty right now from panic sellers. I think they would be quite pleased with todays action so far. At some point, they will probably drive this price higher. Just a guess, and anybody can correct me or add to any misconceptions I may have.

RavMan,

This is a typical pull back after a huge run up. You have to realize that most people got in this stock because of the hype and now that the stock didn't rocket to $10 like they thought (which is ridiculous) now they are panicking thinking they have made a poor decision to buy. So the question is. Did you buy this stock because everyone else was buying with no clue of what you were getting into, or did you buy this stock because it is very possible that it will be a good investment?
I personally bought this stock 2 years ago because I knew that if ONTV hooked up with RONCO together they would make big money. ONTV has a much closer relationship with RONCO than people might think. I am certain that Ron Popeil and Dan Fasano have known each other for quite some time. Also ONTV's own line of items are nothing to sneeze at.
I once said roughly 2 years ago that I was certain ONTV (LAAQ) would go over $1 some day. Although it took almost 2 years I was correct. Now, there is no question in my mind that this stock will be worth more than $5 some day. Whether it will happen next week, next month or next year, who knows. The rest is up to the individual.

It is called "pump and dump" schemes of penny stocks (zombies) that have been dead for some time, and are temporarily pumped by those who bought at bottom. This scheme typically runs rampant at market tops and a few weeks before big market correction. To participate on this is buy and sell immediately, mostly within hours but sometimes can be two or three days.
