Doomsday Cultists Freeze to Death in Montana Snow
acclaimedmedia.com

HELENA - Authorities are reporting that all 47
members of the 'Earth in the Lurch' cult froze to
death yesterday when they ventured into a snow
storm wearing only shorts and t-shirts. Said one
of the state troopers who helped locate the
missing cultists, "I've never seen anything like this.
What a waste of human life."

The 'Earth in Lurch' cult was headed by 'Jimmy
Johnson', a man who religiously followed the
writings of Vice President Al Gore. One of the
main doctrines of the cult was that the world was
going to end on January 1st, 2000 due to global
warming.

Authorities had a difficult time finding a logical
reason to explain why the cultists would leave the safety of their cabins and venture
out into the snow. But after doing a thorough search the cult's compound they found
a video tape that was recorded just hours before the cultist's demise. The video
features 'Jimmy Johnson' delivering a sermon on global warming. In the sermon
Johnson says, "According to the Gospel of Gore, the world is getting hotter and
hotter and hotter. We know that this is true. Therefore, the snow that you see
outside is nothing more than a trick of the devil. We are going to expose the devil's
lies by stripping down to shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops. We are then going to hike
down to the lake and do some swimming and have a barbecue." Unfortunately, the
cultists never made it to the lake. With temperatures dipping to 60 below zero, all of
the cultists died of hypothermia within 7 minutes.

Said one state trooper, "I never did understand those 'global warming fanatics'. I
always thought they were gullible but I never realized that they were this stupid."
