I just think it comes from company meetings with security analysts. Most companies want to be covered by some analyst someplace. So they can impress them with those business plans/models.

James, you may have seen this already, but here's a link to MXNT's web site which contains a description of the "business model": mxnt.com This is probably a simplified version of their plan. And it has most likely changed somewhat. I think this statement, from their last press release, sums it up: "Maxnet, Inc. is an integrated Internet Development Company focused on creating and expanding strategic alliances for its comprehensive network of consumer and business-oriented web services."
