>>>The key to success long-term for BII is to increase gross profit margins. When is the quarterly report coming out? <<<

An e-mail from Jeff Lymburner told me that they have an expectation that their 4th quarter numbers will be released before the end of March. My belief is that they are holding onto the financials until they get NASDAQ listing.

On the subject of gross profit margins, in the form 20-F SEC application, BII discusses the margins issue and raises the point that in the past they have discounted items on auction and that this approach was slowing in the 4th quarter and in future quaters. That should help margins, at least a little.

I am not sure. I have to defer to Denise who seems to know what is involved with putting these together for her firm. If I recall, she said that based on her experience, we should see them in March.

I would like to add that many of the more interesting and profitable revenue generators were announced in the 1st quarter of 1999. These were the advertising agreements and the sports cards etc. The management has also said that they are now going after more higher margin items. We should see the impact of these in the 1st quarter numbers. So yes, I want to see the 1998 yr. reports, but in my opinion, the 1st quarter numbers will be more interesting as it will better reflect the longer term business model.

By the way, when will you tell us what stocks you like???
