I will always believe IPM was doomed by several Management miscalculations: 1.) A weird combination of "Not invented here" coupled with poor selection of outside labs and vendors when necessary. 2.) A negative sentiment by detractors who used whatever means possible to destroy the company (i.e. the NASDAQ delisting). 3.) Overpayment for BR when they didn't have a recovery system in hand that was proven. 4.) There are probably more. The sad part is ... the metals are still out there in the ground ... waiting for the proper technology, management and funding to develop.
