Well I didn't go into the details with them, but they
indicated that different IPO's were "marketed" in
different ways. Sometimes flipping applies, sometimes
it doesn't.

That's what we were told when we got our 100 shares of Allaire from Schwab -- 30-day rule, no flipping, or you'll be flipped out of any consideration for the next 6 months of upcoming IPOs.
