The best thing about NH in the primary season is the opportunity to partake of the retail politicking that goes on. I manage to meet most of the major candidates on both sides of the coin up close and personal as they say. Last time around for instance I had dinner with Steve Forbes and his family. Also got to spend about an hour talking to Jack Kemp. Lamar Alexander was an honorary citizen by the time he was through. Anyway, my wife and I go to Boston when we take a weekend to get away from the kids and my work now and again. We like the Symphony, Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. It about a 45 minute drive. Give us a call next time you hit town. We'll give you the cook's tour of the North End of Boston for the best Italian food around. JLA
