Pete, fascinating article. It describes VRE which is almost unstoppable and now it has spread to Staph. aureus which many scientists feared. The woman in Hong Kong died of blood poisoning which is what the new Phase I drug is being tested for.

I do hope MBI 226 works as well as they think it does. If vancomycin is beaten maybe 226 will take over as the "superbug" killer of choice.
