DaiS,

There goes the Kahuna again.....polluting our board with his personal attacks.

I don't have the IMS numbers but I will try to get and post them....

I didn't see the GMA program this am and would appreciate a review by anyone who did.

Dais <<If you have this information on script numbers and what Dr Wolfe said, why not you let us have it if Vlad won't?>>

Dais: Rx numbers for major new pharmaceutical products are available every Monday from the Merrill Lynch Research Website (free through February). Just register and type in a major pharma name ie. MRK
This site will also provide the latest ML research on the stocks that they follow.

Viagra Rxs are also posted on the SI PFE Board on a regular basis. Sorry, I don't have the MUSE Rx numbers.

As expected, Dr. Sidney Wolfe did not mention Viagra in promoting his book "Worst Pills, Best Pills" on Good Morning America. Viagra is also not reviewed in the latest edition of his book.

Dias and true VVUSer investors: Check out the February 1999 issue of Urology Times. Nice article on ED gene therapy "Gene therapy for ED 'just around the corner' features interviews with prominent urologists Dr. Thomas Lue and Dr. Arnold Melman. "Advances in molecular biology have made gene therapy for erectile dysfunction possible in the near future.....Gene therapy is feasible for ED and judging from animal studies, it may require only a few intracavernous injections."

In the same issue, in the "In Brief" section, there is a short summary of the AHA/ACC Viagra Consensus Committee: "Cardiologists release sildenafil prescribing guidelines." There are also longer articles on "New approaches to impotence Tx vary widely" including Dr. Melman's positive research on MUSE + prazosin and a Harris poll:"Insurers should cover cost of sildenafil".

I hope this information brings some "fresh" facts for serious ED investors.
