So those 5 plus Michael hold roughly 33% of the 1.27bil shares
. Add a few more institutions and they probably still hold 50 to 60 % of all shares as once reported.
Thats all to the good, say I, as they do not take investments lightly nor make overnight changes on the basis of one analysts comments, and have no obvious reason to sell Dell with the performance
and growth intact and exceeding most other equities.
On the day of the split their completely automated program
trading should kick in as Dell drops 50% and screens light up to say "BUYING,BUYING,BUYING , Dell is below your limit buy orders BUY NOW".
