I agree that a CEO sits on board of many companies. But I have also seen members resign from the boards when they have other pressing needs at home. Why would Dilbert work as a consultant for a company about to fold.. We know that Borland spent the farm to get him. He will eventually sell out Inprise for lousy 10 dollars and get a nice position at the buying company. He will make sure of his position there.

Very critical technical point on INPR right now. All time multi-year low of 4-3/4 set back on 11/5/96 was just hit on relatively heavy volume. If 4-3/4 is breached, this would be very bad from a technical point of view. Could be just margin calls forcing sales, but 4-3/4 has to hold, if you are long.
