If anyone "wrecked" the talks, it was Greenpeace, with the numerous childish stunts over the last few weeks. Is the BBC now the official mouth of Greenpeace? Gawd! The British public has been railroaded along by what amounts to a media terrorist group with a deceptively pleasant-sounding name.

And if the US is "wrecking" in this way, the only thing wrecked will be the chances of a possibly severe, unwarranted interruption to global trade and food prices.
