The general wisdom is if you expect a volatile silver price, do not purchase silver bag because they are not liquid when the price rises rapidly. Coin dealers are reluctant to buy it back because it is illegal to melt them and they are afraid of left holding the bag (no pun intended) when price drops later on.

Just nosy, what state? A large metro area? Some areas are said to have more than others. Even hear coins are growing legs and traveliing.
