StockHawk: Thanks for that post. I wondered after I did it if it was something that I should be able to do. I do not carry a margin account with them. There is sell short button and I did not push that one. I am sure they would say that in a fast market they do not have the time to check every account and that I have signed a paper saying that I am resposible for all my trades on the internet. I think that account is on a cash only delivery for xxxx days because of a mistake I made a while back...bought more than what was in the account, so I don't think it should have been allowed. Wonder if they'll notice...they are famous for allowing people to trade with money they don't have. It has happened to me a number of times and I have had to scramble to get out fast...usually at my loss. MMK
