Sounds like the K63 kryo chip that only runs at half the speed. You're right though, it's not a product, just a demo, but the real point is that Intel has the confidence to show their products in public. Where is the K7 running at even half that Intel demo speed? Where is the 5,6,700 K63 kryo cooled demo? The conclusion is clear. Intel can hit over 1 Gig with proper conditions because of extraordinary process technology which AMD is falling farther and farther behind. Intel is currently demoing .18u processors to the Intel Developers Forum right now. The K63 announced Monday is just a desperate response to the PIII and not yet a product.
