Hi Ray:

Thanks for the comprehensive report on your conversation.

Now, if the weather will start to cooperate, they can get back on track and "get the lessons behind them."

Thanks.

Steve

L. Cummings is a straight shooter. I believe people such as himself within the org. are for the good of all. I do have a bit of a problem with who or whomever is interpreting their seismic data. I realize it's a bit of a guessing game at best or there would be no unfound reserves. But dam Raymond they missed that one big time.

As far as paying with stock, I would assume that's what they have the most of? I also imagine that little venture over Islero #1 had a lot to do with that decision. Thanks Raymond!

>When asked, Mr. Cummings said the pipe lines were progressing and that within a two week period we should be hearing something in the form of a press release. Palo Blanco's pipe line is almost finished and all that remains is tying in to the main pipe line.<

Excellent news Raymond.

No doubt thats a big factor in Oppenheimer giving Hec a $7 1999 price target which would be a fantastic return.

Anybody remember the #s on the flow rates?

Thanks
