I am not sure they did have the right you are referring to. There are generally very clear termination agreements in contracts. If NN is suing, they must believe that these termination "triggers" were not met. Moreover, if there is an implication that the contract was cancelled because the equipment would not work properly, and in fact, it does, than there exists very real grounds for a lawsuit. Finally, if existence of a contract allowed valuable technology to transfer to a third party's benefit after termination, then there also exists grounds for compensatory damages. Proving all of this is another matter entirely.

It seems pretty clear from what I have read on this thread that NN followers believe NN has a technological edge in this area over the competition, so I would not be so quick to dismiss it as a publicity stunt.

Serge, what WIC did under pressure of Show Comm.(they fire lots of WIC people, including menagment)was real manoeuvre.
Then they tried to blame NN technology. So far, NN's gears are providing services to customers of Cental Texas, Max Link and Korean Telecom and soon Home Telephone of SC. CSCO and Bosch Telecom have produced NOTHING except lots of promises to WIC and Show Comm.- loyal CSCO customer.
