These stocks are moving solely because they are *fashionable* -- seems right now the trend on the threads are micro pennies. No one, including me, are looking at fundamentals. Heck - I don't even know what these companies do. But they are going strictly on momentum - as "fun" plays. I have seen stocks trade like this when they were in BK and closing their doors. There is no reason that some of these stocks are even still tradeable. I do not know anything about HOPR - but for a lark I tried to buy some - and it sat as an open order at the ask for almost 5 minutes - did not fill - and then they moved up the ask. Be careful when placing orders on bulletin board stocks. NDB just told me that once they get the order they have to send it in to the market maker - and on orders of 10,000 or more, they have to get an
okay from a supervisor (which can take a few minutes). Also, they have a window of 3 - 7 minutes to fill these orders as a result. Had I placed several orders of under 10,000 (like 5,000 each) simultaneously, they would have gone through immediately. However, an order for 50,000 got held up. When you consider the price was less than $200, it is really a joke.
*** Looks like I may have saved $200 accidentally if what they say about this company is true.***
