Sarmad, I was on-line for about 3 hours today. Bought 75 shares in the morning at $113 5/8 and sold at $115 1/4.

It was not a serious trade, Using the 300 shares box as a hedge, it's quite safe to buy/sell additional 75 shares or so at one's convenience. Best wishes, Jan.

Dear Sarmad,

>>everyone who was going to buy based on anal recommendation has done so already.

almost everyone maybe :) I bought back into amazon today, after being out since mid-December; partly on that recommendation. I've been long "the thing" off and on (mostly "on") since a bit after the IPO. I agree with WH's sentiments on these stocks. To me, if feels like "act II" is about to begin in the sector.

it's also been nice to see this thread get classy again, with your addition, and other intelligent posters. and I'm delighted and Glenn got unbanished and I'm willing to pay extra for the imprispoetry, if need be.

>>Another famous name upgrade will of course spoil this scheme. But I don't think there are any.

Do you think a Blodget/Meeker reiteration is a one-day wonder?
