Exabyte has been going nowhere for a long time now.
Michael Murphy who stuck with this one for years finally gave up a few days ago.

Is this company over?

Exabyte & Sony Tape Sony was until recently Exabyte's sole supplier of AME media (ie Tape) for Exabyte's Mammoth drives. Last year insufficient supply of Media resulted in Exabyte's inability to meet their customers demand for tape, which presumably adversely impacted their ability to sell Mammoth drives as well. With this facility as well as Exabyte having found a second source of AME media, the supply problems of the past should be a thing of the past soon.
