Well, too me this means a) AMZN is a force to be reckoned with (although I guess that
was obvious already) and b) they should IPO b&n.com soon if building out their internet
strategy is eating into their earnings.

My guess is the IPO will be soon. BKS likely does not want to use their cash to compete in the currently money losing online wars. It was interesting that Bertlemanns just sold another bunch of AOL stock. I wonder if they did that to obtain the cash for their part of the BKS online venture. There could be hundreds of reasons.
