GST-Is it not true that this kind of topping action can take a few months to play out? Topping in January, rolling over, testing highs without broad participation and then dropping again -- but over a period of months?

Absolutely...Sometimes the correction seems slow to arrive and terribly obvious. No one who watches these numbers can ever say that they have not been adequately warned by the technical underpinnings. They are generally ignored until it is too late.

When the correction begins in earnest it is likely to be sharp and very ugly.

By the way, I am in agreement with your assessment that AMZN should not go much beyond 120...but here we are near the moment of truth.

Mike

"Combined sales of Amazon.com, Barnesandnoble.com and Borders.com [the online unit of bookseller Borders Group Inc.] total less than 3% of U.S. book sales, so there's a lot of opportunity out there," she said.
