A certain NOW giving Clinton hater has ensured that I've come to know California. I love California... "you people"...stereotypical thinking. I've read your reference and I certainly see that the statement "The greatest gift a woman can give a man is to openly say to him "I trust you to earn the money for our family". This engenders the greatest feelings of self worth and desire in men to go beyond their own expectations. " is not absolutely correct at all, but it is far from scary. There is a bit of "traditional" reality in it however abhorrant it may be to you. And there surely can be some truth in it without necessarily putting women in some imagined subservient or lowly place you envision. A little tolerence, please! And the rest of the post is well taken. Being a housewife does NOT indicate a woman is unsuccessful nor that a man gets his jollies feeling he is "above" her in some way. Your understanding of all this seems lacking. As for me I'm both single and dogless. I am quite biased toward independent successful women. Draw your own conclusions one and all.
