Jim,

Glad we are on the same wavelength----

I'm just afraid that even the news of a "new" competitor would nail this stock hard because of its valuations. I want people to be aware that it *could* happen. Teaming-up with one of the "big boyz" by BRCM would surly ease this fear, IMO.

I hope we all make $$$ as well.

I'm a buyer at lower levels....just can't justify it at this level.

ps...no I'm not short....
A break of that key level (57? closing basis) I posted and I'd consider it a short again.

I "discovered" this stock when I noticed the volatility and decided to buy some deep out-of-the-money puts. Made a tidy profit and then decided to research the company some more: A true gem in the highly valued world of CSCO, DELL and MSFT and the rest of the internet.

The trouble I have with CSCO right now is that the law of large numbers is going to hit soon. Growing 30-50% per year just gets tougher and tougher. BRCM on the other hand can sustain that type of growth rate for the foreseeable future.

If volatility concerns you then 1) You shouldn't be in this stock 2) just buy some protective puts or go short-against-the-box and make some money on the temporary sell-offs.

Timing is everything.

Regards, Keith
