I tend to doubt that. I don't think that stocks rise going into the split itself, just on the announcement of the split. That's just my anecdotal experience, but I think that's probably true--in any event, it normally does not get a 10% rise in a stock in two days. Look at Yahoo's action or Broadcom's action going into their splits. I hope that people are not stupid enough to buy on the split itself. It makes no sense.
