Aloha Mike,

I in no way intended to say in my prior post that one could not make a bundle of cash by investing in the satellite, online brokerage or portal businesses. I was only referring to the probability of any of these companies becoming a Gorilla in their own right.

Thanks,
Teflon

Aha! Now I understand your question. Actually, most of the early members of the thread do not adhere to the full GG approach <sacrilege>. It's a very time consuming and technical endeavor, and we're lazy old guys. Instead, we buy emerged Gorillas and Kings, and leave prospecting to the younger guys who have longer investment windows. The returns on Silverbacks, like msft, csco and intc, are stunning, even as they grow aged, and it's a "sure thing".

There was already a fine thread for strict Gorilla Game players at
Subject 19790.

This thread is for deviants <g>.
