North Sea Brent gains eight cents in late U.S.

NEW YORK, Feb 23 (Reuters) - North Sea Brent gained eight cents in aftermarket trade late Tuesday in the United States, dealers said.

April Brent was valued at $11.01 a barrel, up from its close at $10.93 a barrel earlier Tuesday on the International Petroleum Exchange.

Traders said three full cargoes of April cash Brent traded at $11.02, one full cargo traded at $11.01, and one full cargo traded at $11.00 a barrel. Other deals included 500 lots of April cash partial cargoes at $11.02, and 100 lots of partials at $11.01 a barrel.

The Brent March-April spread traded once at minus 15 cents on Tuesday, while the the April-May spread traded two times at minus 17 cents, traders said.
