Scum, Here's a Dirty Little Dell Secret. Dell is trying to keep from letting you know. Have you ever wondered how Dell has the lowest cost structure in the industry? Why Dell margins are so high. They don't put the cumputers togetter themselves. They contract out with Taiwan manufactures who stamp the Dell name on the box. According to IW Industy Week Magazine,Feb 1,1999 article by Weld Royal 60% of Dell boxes are made in Taiwan. Strict agreements of confidentialty force the secret. Some Taiwannees have set up set up factoies in Shenzhen near hing Kong and Shanghia. The companies CEo taking aoubt their labor force we learned how to handel them- "treat them like military would". "Set strict rules". DELL's using chinees labor and selling as made in the USA. OH MY GOD! How creative! Does Phiffer know this?
And here we were led to beleive we were buying a box made in the good old USA. made by American workers down in Texas. Well well Mr. Dell i wonder how many of your American Corporatons you sell to would be so loyal if they knew the truth about your dirty little secret. You got to hand it to him he's a crafty little dellvil. From the Nus News Desk that is all. Home of financial underdogs.
