J.C. below is the news release from Stockwatch. It means nothing as far as PVM is concerned. I explained about this situation earlier in the following #reply-6459864 Canada Stockwatch Pacific Vangold Mines Ltd - Breckenridge, Vangold financier Brown expelled Pacific Vangold Mines Ltd PVM Shares issued 12,563,412 1999-02-22 close $0.05 Monday Feb 22 1999 See Breckenridge Resources Ltd (BKD) Street Wire by Brent Mudry Controversial accountant and offshore financier Steven Scott Brown has been expelled from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia for failing to carry professional liability insurance. The association notes that Mr. Brown's malpractice insurance lapsed on Dec. 31, and he failed to renew his coverage, a requirement of membership. Mr. Brown responded to a request from the association, but after he failed to provide proof of coverage, he was expelled on Feb. 17. Mr. Brown is wanted for questioning in the disappearance of millions of dollars of clients' funds. Using several companies based in the Turks and Caicos Islands, he invested in private placements of a number of Vancouver Stock Exchange-listed companies, including Breckenridge Resources, Pacific Vangold Mines and Mongolia Gold Resources. The companies have denied any knowledge of any wrongdoing related to the dealings of Mr. Brown, who used several employee fronts. The expulsion comes two months after the accounting association "extraordinarily suspended" Mr. Brown in mid-December. The controversial accountant has the right to appeal the actions to the Supreme Court of British Columbia. (c) Copyright 1999 Canjex Publishing Ltd. canada-stockwatch.com etc.
