I never got a response to my request for the $100 credit, and I asked them twice. I also asked them again after they charged me $5 for sending them a personal check deposit to my account!

I just got this email from them after asking twice about the end of year contest. It was the secret contest. Hardly anyone knew about it, and hardly anyone won. And, the winners are a secret, too.

Thanks for writing.

Regarding your inquiry: no one person matched the year-end Dow close,
but six people who were closest did share the prize. Their names are
not being released at their request. Please call or write if you have
additional questions or concerns.

Web Street is having a tech problem this morning. If you are on the "Trading Pit" site you can only access your margin and short account. The cash account is not available. I called Web Street and they are aware of the problem which they are working on. A few minutes later I called them back with a temporary solution which they were unaware of. You go up to the drop down menu at the top right which has equity and option available. By default it's on equity. Click on "option." After it finishes loading go back and click on equity. When that finishes loading you will then have cash, margin, and short available to you. Anyone who does their trades under the account access site using equity order is not experiencing this problem.
