JGoren,

Did you happen to notice whether any of these experts were from Cornell University? My sister apparently knows someone who is testifying at the trial believe it or not, although he won't say for whom.

And THANKS for taking the time to get over there....Dave

multipath is normally a negative condition that occurs in areas with buildings and other objects that reflect signals. these objects reflect the signals and create many different versions of the same signal shifted in the time domain. this can make detecting and tracking the real signal a problem. using cdma, however, the receiver captures teh multiple signals (perhaps using the ol' rake receiver ) and resolves the time differential between the signals. the two or more signals are then used to fill in any possible gaps in the signal and improve signal to noise ratios. in short, multipath is good in cdma and not so good under other technologies.
