Playstation 2 rumer, no DVD.................................. fgnonline.com PSX2 DVD? Playstation 2: Speculation is gathering pace as to whether or not PlayStation2 will be DVD at all - that's assuming the console will come out within the next year or so. Whispers from close to the company are suggesting that Sony would never bring out a DVD player within the next two years for the price being suggested by certain sources (ie around $200). Sony is already selling DVD players for around $400. How much will the system cost if it's to include DVD?
