Ed, Won't deny for a second that other factors including genetics determine how long we will live. Sorry about the dig--I was just upset that your prior post put words into my mouth. I whole heartedly disagree if you claim that things such as diet and stress are not important factors when it comes to longevity. Don't forget that heart attacks are the number one killer in the United States. Do you not think that doctors with CAD patients do not advise them about diet and stress management. Come on Ed! You can't be that naive to say that it is better to consider these factors AFTER the coronary occurs than BEFORE it happens. Isn't that what good preventative medicine is all about??????
