Nice outline of CC Pat...errr...Doug. Thanks. I agree that the analysts were not aggressive. I am actually quite surprised. One woman challenged Lutz to tell her how he was confident on his growth of 50% going into fiscal 2000 and I thought that might be the start of something but it wasn't. Lutz can certainly say the right things. My concern is with Seimens per your (k) below. If they account for 20% of revenues then I am a little nervous because Lutz's response confirmed in my mind anyway that the partnership is becoming somewhat, make that, totally informal and is perhaps uncementing (my words). I guess the recent article (Globe & Mail)which said Seimens reported that they are only dealing with one product with Newbridge and nothing else has got my antenae up. Not sure what else to say about things. I didn't hear any birthdays or anniversaries mentioned by Lutz so that's definitely good! Hopefully, the lack of aggressiveness by analysts will translate into positive comments to the press tomorrow. Cheers! Chris <<(i)All: Based on the Q&A,here are some excerpts . a: NN is now a Real world Networking Company, I.P Centric devoted too Holistic I.P. b: Phase 1 viz new Org chart completed with appointment of 6 V.Ps and 3 product lines. c:Phase 2 now being implemented will expand Marketing,Employee compensation, Sales etc. d:New WAN products now in Lab trials and will be announced shortly. e:ATM/IP growth 45% in terms of revenue. f:Current earnings 280m ATM and 165m TDM,10m LAN. g:Existing Sales 52% in USA,34% Europe/Africa, 14% Asia. h:TDM sales in S.America mainly thru agreements with Siemens & other Agents. j:G1 announcement tied up with Global/Sprints desire to mantain silence regarding tech details of their Networks. k:Siemens joint agreements result in about 20% revenue. Agreement is live and well and open to annual review. Each Company is free to develop its own products. l: Growth projected at 45%. By and large Analysts were not aggressive during the Q&A.
