It is interesting to me that at the end of the piece they extrapolated oil prices for the year 2010 to be either $4 or $12 per barrel depending on which theory they used to base the calculation. Neither number looks particularly promising for OS companies.

I also believe that bulls can take to heart the comments in the early part of the piece about OPEC's past ability to have the power to control prices. A strong showing from OPEC in March (or before) could greatly change the horizon for crude prices.
