Actually, he ran all the benchmarks, except the L3 cache comparison test, with 512K L3 cache. He used the Asus P5A. This motherboard is based on the Alladin (V, I think) chipset. For the L3 cache comparison, he used the FIC PA 2013. The Asus motherboard is just a faster motherboard. RE: "However I do concede his point that for 3d tasks that most of the support for AMD sucks" Watch Paul jump on this opportunity to say that, even though we have know this for over 18 months. I wonder how K6-III systems will sell in the retail market... If AMD can market them properly they will sell, and that is all that matters. Time will tell.
