This Y2K thing worries me a little, because I know how suseptible to panic the market is. My problem is that my wife and I are buying a new house later this year and have the funds in a mutual fund. So I would hate to lose 40% of the value of that fund right before I buy the damn house. So I am considering liquidating that mutual fund around June or July, just in case. Hopefully, we won't see a big selloff before then. That's why your earlier comment touched a nerve in me. ;) Anyway, we'll see how it shakes out.
