Greg,

I read that Toshiba will be offering k6-2 laptops outside of Japan now. Next in rest of asia and europe.

Apparently sales have been great.

So this is the second company (after Gateway) that started witha Japan only test program a few months ago, liked the results and will be going worldwide with AMD.

Perhaps they will hit your price target by the time they start selling in US.

Oh PS Toshiba is still No. 1 worldwide in notebooks.

Regards,

Kash

Greg, Cybermax was the *FIRST* computer company to commit to the K-6, and continues to receive AMD chips on par with CPQ, despite CPQ being one of AMD's largest stock holders!
