Larry,

When you want something a lot, you never let on. You ignore, and pretend to be sympathetic. Then when you have their confidence--bang you go for the kill (Teds'Harley).

First I buy the vases, and as a "favor" I take the Harley off Ted's hands.

Scene--Easy riding Runner drives off into the sunset on Teds hog, one grateful tear running down Teds' face.
