LOL, Is what going up or down is more like the question and what time frame. I ran my scans and it is mostly short term bullish and the ones I expected to go up did (MSFT mainly). However as of tonight I have a few short term warning signals but few hard sell signals, just hints of trouble mainly. Reversal bars, fake move indications etc. Over all the market internals are not improving a whole lot as it appears the whole market is cautious. That was why I didn't want to be long here. All DELL did was fill the gap as expected, yet they are all bullish again over there like kids on X-mas eve. The other PCs look pretty good though (except MUEI of course as it hit it's head on the downward fork). EMC is too tough a call for me as it moved up impressivelly today from a directional signal 7 days ago but now has bearish MACD divergance and an oversold stochastic reading as it approaches it's old high and thus the resistance line. AOL is nearing it's resistance line at 98 and my system works lousy on this one but it says it is bearish on MACD and the Wilder portion of my system gave a sell signal 9 days ago. As I wrote to Challo, my system is built for option trades so it takes many things before they give a green light. If I know what your looking at it might be easier, in a PM of course. As for the indexes, Don is much better at calling them short term than I am. I can day trade the OEX but my daily indicators seem to lag for some reason on them. As for regular staring at the charts type TA, I have the SPX possibly continuing up to about 1287-1290 over the next couple days, the NASDAQ running al the way up to 2475 but I show the DOW is pretty much done here unless it goes to the upper tine which I doubt. Don shows it the indexes pulling back here though and he has won every time we have differing opinions lately so....
