TnT SLI in and of itself doesn't worry me that much. What worries me is that the other chip companies seem to be the innovators these days and 3Dfx is falling behind.

If I wanted just the top OEM chip company, I would've bought ATi. My idea was that 3Dfx had the best technology and were the innovators. They would eat into the market share of Ati and I would profit from their growth.

I'm starting to doubt 3Dfx's ability to keep close to the forefront of chip design. For all the talk about how the market will consolidate, S3 and nVdia have a fair amount of cash right now and ATi is still strong.

Also, I'm really dissapointed about how much TNT inventory STB is carrying.

Tae, why is this earth shattering? The are copying an old idea that 3Dfx already has used. And who the hell will care when Rampage will kick its butt with just one card?
