Dale Doner probably sold his shares in August. I don't think you have to file a 144 until the day you sell, although you could do it as much as 90 days ahead. But why would you, and depress the stock before you sell?

NYRR has needed cash over the years to fund operating and capital expenses. They still show a sizeable loss as revealed by the press release. So I assume they have sold stock from time to time from the authorized but unissued hopper. Nothing particularly sinister here. Other penny stockholders (including me) have been taken to the cleaners by unscrupulous management of pennies. NYRR is pretty straight forward about admitting to private issues, debt to equity conversions and the lack of profit.

I have pretty much given up trying to learn anything new. We must have patience until June and see how much traffic NS feeds to us. It won't be much because Long Island doesn't get much from Selkirk anyway and how much of that comes from the south? The next plateau to strive for will be the result of shifting containers from truck to rail barge. If only the city would build a container off-loading facility on Long Island and force the truckers to use it . . . !!!!!

First off, whatever I think about NYRR is 100% speculation on my part.

I have been a shareholder for over two years and have been disappointed many times versus what I speculated might happen and what indeed did happen! ( Usually Nothing!)....

In my view the next crucial time frame for NYRR to take advantage of the recent major Rail acquisitions of Conrail by Norfolk-Southern and CSX is from now until the end of June , 1999.

I feel that there could be many significant business spin-offs that may come to NYRR if a number of many different scenarios come to fruition! My guess is that the political scene is one of the components, whether NYRR takes steps to become afully reporting company? whether they get significant grant money to rebild their infrastructure? whether the $901 Million lawsuit that they are apparently persuing against Conrail holds any water/merit? As well as a number of other issues/considerations that have been brought forward for consideration by other Posters on this and the Raging Bull NYRR thread.

I would suggest that you may want to discuss NYRR with your professional investment advisor/broker before jumping in---call the company? I found Mr. James White to be very approachable at NYRR!

Check out the NYRR Web Site? nyrr.com

Maybe checkout the Raging bull NYRR Thread? It's free to read and to post!

There are many more knowledgable and railway specific people then I on the various threads that from time to time offer many things to tghink about! Some thread names that come to mind are, 246810, Straight_Talk, Subman, Jack G., only to name a few!

Always investigate before you consider investing/speculating--and please do not make any investment decisions based on someone else's decision, opinion, recommendation, etc---do what is right for you--and be sure that you can live comfortably with the outcome or consequences----OTC-BB Stocks are very high risk at the best of times
and if the company is not a reporting company makes it that much more difficult to get any factual information about the company!

You worked very hard for your money --it should be 100% your decision how you spend it! I heard that only 3 out of 100 OTC-BB investments pan out---the odds are not in our favour!

The S.I. NYRR thread has thousands of postings going back about two years--I have read them twice-and I have reviewed the Raging Bull NYRR Threads twice from start to finish! Most of it is heresay and opinion-but there are some gems in the rough if one looks closely enough! JMO!

I am gambling that accumulating more shares at these price levels is a risk I am prepared to take! The truth is there are some days I wonder why I am doing this--in my opinion once June, 1999 has come and gone--I'll have a bettor idea how good my guess work was!

Unless some positive news about the lawsuit is released , before june--I don't expect to see much upward movement in the share price beyond the .20 cent range until then! JMO!

Well, that's what I think! I also think we will need to see some significant share volumes trade before we see a significant upward share price move. I made some share price predictions in earlier postings supported with my opinions to support those opinions.

Now for the three main reasons I am a shareholder in NYRR!

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!

Best Regards,

Wayne J.
