Whew! Lots of stuff going on lately...

STBI...didn't much care for the CC...as far as losing second tier OEM's, I could care less. I am truly hoping that we will be capacity constrained and that first tier boxmakers will be keeping us busy...they did use the word "multiple" when referring to tier one design wins...use of credit line didn't bug me- cash flow did...

NVDA...a pretty good quarter. Sun, I don't think you are giving these guys enough credit. IF we can keep the top OEM's, and hurt NVDA short term, they will invariably fall into the "graphics company death spiral" which will at least kill the stock price... :)

RE: Sharky's writeup on SLI TNT2...give me a break! 4 pages of hype! Were they paid for that PR? If it works, great! Good for them...but holy cow, to be going on with "and TNT2 may have a 166mhz part, which should do 333Mpix, which will break 600Mpix with a Metabyte SLI rig..."; and lets not forget that SLI never really gave twice the performance on anything, even if the specs said it should have. Another wonderful piece of journalism is Sharky's listing of faults- as if 16mb was a crippling factor to the V3 vs. 32mb on the 32 bit cards...from a marketing standpoint, I understand the criticism, from an educated "techie" standpoint, they are not being honest...

As for V3 reviews, I think overall that they are very positive. Again Sharky wants to take a VERY EARLY part and put it through the ringer, and, my God, what a piece of trash when it fails 36 hours later...but, boy that Metabyte SLI rig is gonna kick some serious ass... (somewhat analogous to "real" earnings vs. "potential" earnings in the internet market...

Best news of the day: image quality! V3 looks great, and others seem to agree!
