I believe you are correct from the research I've done. It was mentioned earlier they might be able to get fast track approval, but from what I've read, this is reserved for stuff that doesn't exist that can save a persons life. AIDS drugs can usually get fast track approvals. Since there are ECG's that already exist, they probably won't consider it a priority enough to put it on the fast track program. Saving people money and convenience probably doesn't count.

About those devices that you posted earlier on the thread, I'm not totally sure but I believe those devices can only record 60 seconds of data and 270 seconds of data at a time. My notes may be wrong though. I'll try to find those pages again in the future.
