OT - Hi Steve, I wonder if, during the conference you attended, you ever heard mentioned one, even, the Bellcore/ITU-drafted Full Service Area Network (FSAN) mentioned? FSAN is (was?) the blueprint that the established ILEC industry was going to follow in the last mile. It makes maximum use of the FTTN/FTTC/(PON)/xDSL fabric you're speaking about.
