I had sold half my position @17.25 before the announcement.
But had planned to buy back on dips. Now I am thinking of selling prior to the takeover. I bought some CNB and still like the bank plays due to mergers. Right now I am watching the combination of Bank of America and Nations Bank. It appears that since Nations has taken over the management at B of A their customer base is starting to dwindle. The Banks have lost their appeal of being friendly and helpful. I like this First Internet Bank idea (CNBC 2-23-99). No motar or steel. Kind of believe that Banking will be that way in 5 years. JMHO. Yeah I probably will put in a sell @ $21.00 and get out.
