Excuse me...may I say something here. Jon appears to have started this thread so that he can get others to buy stocks he's buying. No doubt he will also be buying stocks that others lead him to. That's also why most of us are here...we all like to buy stocks that others are also buying. Now if somebody does not like the fact that Jon or any other people post stocks that they are interested in then they would probably be more comfortable if they did not read this thread.

Personally I enjoy reading stock picks from people with a good track record. Many times I am alerted to a momentum play that I was not aware of. AXC is a good example...I knew nothing about it until Jon posted it as a stock he was holding. I viewed the chart, made an analysis and watched the opening on Monday to see if support held. It was strong at the open so I bought in. Over the next hour the stock ran about 1/2 a point from my entry. I sold netting 7/16. I reentered near the close expecting a good opening today. I sold this morning netting 5/16 for a two day total of 3/4 on 1,000 shares. That's about 25% on my original investment in less than 48 hours.

I'm not tooting my horn and I'm sure not tooting Jon's...I'm just saying that many of us poor slobs like to help each other make a few bucks. If the rich wallstreet tycoons don't like it then they can start their own anti-stock-picking-thread and see how many people hang out with them.

Cheers!

Mike
