Paul,

Only three main events that I see as pushing the stock in the near future: 1) takeover bids or alliance deal (I personally believe Nextel will not accept, but doesn't stop a try for Nextel or in the industry.), 2) first quarter 1999 report (which I think has a good chance of an upside surprise based on comments from yesterday's conference call), 3) general market (I don't think there's much left on the upside).

By the way, are you following the Olivetti / Italia news? My interpretation is that Italia wanted some 'regulatory problems' to appear so they could stall for time and raise the ante. If so, I wonder how many bottles of champagne that cost.
