Howie, I believe you're right. Could someone else clarify this point? Can insiders sell before filing, and if so, how many days before?

Since MHMY has been a pure momentum play, the news of the sales will have an effect whether the actual shares are offered tomorrow or not. We now know the float has been doubled and the people who run and own the company are getting out all they can.

It also seems unlikely those shares have been sold already; yesterday's up-volume of two million shares can't have been it, though selling may have started today (Tuesday).

We'll gap down and the momos will give up on it; the new float is too much to swallow. I can't see a single argument for the upside at this point.

Comments Please on a MHMY Short Squeeze Post on Yahoo.

Posted today on Yahho MHMY board

OK, I'm not taking sides (but prefer the short side)
If the MHMY insiders haven't sold the 144 filings...
1) They want the best price. right.
2) They (all insiders as a group) control over 1/2 the stock.
3) So they just take "possession" of the shares they want to sell. (legal)
4) If those shares were "lent" to short sellers they have to be replaced with other shares.
5) But since MHMY has a small float, a short squeeze possibility exists if #3 occurs.
6) The trigger - NASDAQ short interest report will show a large short position, 3-4 days to cover (my guess).

I traded MHMY for 7 months and saw a lot of weird stuff happen.
I am curious why there was stock "available" to short as MHMY came down from 20. Other posts here reported difficulty borrowing other inet (yeh, yeh, I know, NOT ) brokerage stocks to short during this period and they had larger floats.
What I am guessing is that some of the stock "lent" came from the insider (non float) holdings. IF this is true then they can force the squeeze to occur. It's all legal as far as I know.

I have no position now. Good luck
