Sounds like what's called a flaw these days, not a bug. Would be fixable by a microcode patch. Not a big deal. Also, it's not in the processor part of the chip, but the ID part. The Pentium II one (F0F0) was in the processor part. Got fixed easy. Also, why do you hear about Intel bugs? Because there are millions of hackers that love to expose them and work day and night at it. Jealousy of Intel factor. Vast majority are meaningless. CPU ID, Ooh, aah, spy vs. spy. Unconfirmed, also by Intel. We'll see.
